This is an example (patch test) for the application of a solid-shell element at a finite strain regime in capturing the nonlinear behavior of Neo-Hookean nearly incompressible materials. The element is developed based on the Taylor expansion of the shape function derivatives such that the orthogonality conditions are satisfied through an hourglass stabilization. The developed element can handle both shear and thickness locking phenomena.
